Team ASA has managed to fit an X-scale processor (600 MHz), 64 to 2048 MB of DDR-233 SDRAM, 16-32MB of Flash for the O.S., and a removable 160GB SATA hard drive in a Linux system designed to fit in a CD drive bay.
According to Team ASA, the NPWR-SCE can be installed in any PC with an open 5.25-inch half-height drive bay. The 5 x 8 inch steel case has dual cooling fans, and will maintain air flow “even in the tightest configurations,” the company claims.
