It’s pretty lame really. I’m hoping computers will have the same effect it has on everyone else and makes them complacent and lazy. Why go fight it out on the streets when I can blog about it?

Scraping Web Pages
So I’m trying to scrape the watchtower.org’s New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. They’ll send you a paper version if you’d like and they have a free online version, but I’m afraid a digital edition is out of the question. It’s for a good cause, my friend would like to read the watchtower’s version [...]
Palm Desktop Icon on Apple’s OSX
Could Palm please produce an updated icon for the palm desktop on OSX? An outdated iMac and a Palm V makes not a pleasing icon.
More money for boots
When I served in the United States Army I spared no expense in making myself more comfortable. Extra padding for the rucksack cost around $50.00 total, resoled boots cost around $60, velcro and fastex buckles cost a few buck here and there. By now I’m sure your asking yourself what the point of all this [...]
64-bit what’s it good for?
Boy it’s been a long time hasn’t it? Well, whatever… I’ve got Mythtv running on an Athlong 3400 64-bit processor. MythTv by far is one of the best projects I’ve ever spent my time attempting to build and well worth every penny I’ve paid in hardware. It’s just fantastic being able to record and stream [...]
iriveramerica T-10 Reviewed
Yes, it’s a review of iriveramerica.com’s T-10! I seldom do them, but I think it’s warranted in this case. First things first, it’s sturdy, has a decent screen, good battery life (around 30 ~ 40 hours per AA), holds between 512 MB and 1 GB of music. Of course there are always drawbacks. First, absolutely [...]
Deskloops
Organize open application windows. Deskloops does this by arranging windows along a virtual horizontal loop. At any one time, you’ll see window open on screen as usual, but in fact any number of other windows, set on that loop, can be rotated in from left or right. A strip of thumbnails on top of the [...]
What’s made out of carbon fiber, kevlar, runs on diesel and carries enough firepower (680kg) to sink a ship?
Answer: The Snark. The Snark is light and fast (280 km/h), quiet (special rotor blades make it extremely quiet ), virtually invisible to radar or infrared detetection (it recycles its exhaust gases and emits little heat) and can carry a payload of 680kg, offering the ability to pack both massive firepower and surveillance equipment (such [...]
The Terrible Trio
Yes, that was a Cool Hand Luke reference. I run a small computer repair business and it’s just occurred to me. Most of the Virus/ Spyware problems, I see, could be cured with just three, if not two, of the free tools I use. Did I already mention that they’re free? So get em’ now [...]
