I’m really not making this up! Vista’s Problem Reporting app just “reported” that it’s not working! I’m not sure if this indicates that Vista is more reliable than XP, or just as crazy as XP.

According to ARNnet, because of Vista’s poor sales, Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer has told Wall Street analysts that Microsoft may increase the amount of DRM in Vista. My gut says that this won’t work. While the price for various versions of Vista do seem high, I can only imagine Vista’s real competitor is not piracy [...]

I’m sure we’ll eventually see a solution to this, but for now it looks like Vista mangles metadata. For now Microsoft recommends camera manufacturers produce plug-ins that work with Vista. Via C-net
