Can MythTV Serve Your Neighborhood?
It’s no secret that, here at home, I use and love MythTV. Part of MythTV’s beauty is it’s expandability. Record T.V. and video in one part of your home, watch it in another. Andrew Greig has taken this concept to a whole new level. Andrew’s video content comes from a C-band (big dish) satellite receiver [...]
iTunes, Make your audiobooks Audiobooks
There’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to organize your own music using the programs that already come on your computer. Hello, iTunes, iPhoto? I’ve managed to finagle a seriously complex way of fixing exif data and properly organizing my photos in iPhoto but until now haven’t found a way to properly organize my [...]

Encode770
Encode770 is a shell script meant to encode video for Nokia 770. Unfortunately, this is Unix/Linux only; dependencies are mencoder and xterm. Once the script is installed in a file managers menu, Encode770 can be invoked from with a right-click. Great for re-encoding those T.V. shows recorded through MythTV.
